Visiting Miami South Beach Florida

Whether or not it is for a weekend or a week, a visit to South Beach will never be dull. South Beach is officially called Miami Beach. It is found on an island. Be aware the climate is terribly wet and hot. During standard years, you should expect rainfall each afternoon in the summer months. It often stops raining in time to enjoy an evening outside.

If you're not so nutty about the heat, you must visit between the months of December and March. The weather is cooler at this time of the year, it is still warm enough to swim at the beach. After tanning on the beach, you may want to check out Lincoln Road. Lincoln Road is a pedestrian mall covered with numerous shops, cafes and bars. To cool down off, you can grab a cold one or dine al fresco. Shops on Lincoln Road include some conventional chains together with some old fashioned weird stores. Many eateries offer sushi, Italian and German cuisines. There are some pizza and burger joints in the mall.

For fine dining, you can walk over to Sea Drive along the beach. There you'll find many cafes featuring seafood, with other fare. Most have both indoor and outside seating. Along this sea street, you'll find some great night clubs. On Collins Ave.

You'll find more hostels, restaurants and specialist shops. If you like art deco, this is the location for you. Lots of the buildings have been revived to their previous art deco elegance. Washington Boulevard is another main artery on the beach.

If you're dining on a budget, you will find many burger and pizza joints. It's also got a considerable number of Brazilian, Columbian and Peruvian eateries.
