North Miami Beach: A Higher Time than South

North Miami Beach is found approximately halfway between Miami and Ft. Lauderdale.

Once known as Fulford ( after a distinguished citizen of the area ), voters of the city modified the name in 1931, after realizing that "Fulford" sounds like it could be the birthplace of the hillbillies from "Deliverance." Now regularly known as NMB, North Miami Beach is a focus of shopping and clothing optional beaches.

There are dining and cultural chances to rival anyplace else in South Florida, and peculiar attractions also. Take, for example, the traditional Spanish Priory - a real Spanish priory ( built in the twelfth century ) that was disassembled and moved brick by brick to the new world by well known plutocrat and newspaper businessman William Randolph Hearst.

Ever a popular site for marriages, it is worth a visit, if only to remind you what can be acheived with singular vision and unlimited resources. If you're looking for a great time in North Miami Beach ( and who isn't ), there is a wonderful place you've got to try. A great distance away from South Beach and Coconut Grove, Bermuda Bar and Griddle is a great club, though with a decidedly different vibe than hotspots further south. The barkeepers appear to wear kilts ( a bit of a difference ) and instead of the everyday fruity, umbrella filled drinks that are favored in SoBe, at the Bermuda you will find folks enjoying bottles of lager and shots ( a larger difference ). The cover is kind of reasonable, and Wed. is women ' night, where girls drink for free and force men to do their bidding.

The food is pretty good, and at more of a fair costs than the food at the clubs in South Beach. The place is kind of giant ; it features 7 bars and 2 floors, and it's open till the sun comes up ( Wed. thru Sat. ). Actually , the Bermuda Bar and Griddle is the ideal place to go if you're uninterested in coping with the crowds and parking situation of SoBe and Coconut Grove. However because the Bermuda is a bit more chilled out than other clubs does not imply that you should not go there in style.

Mirage Limousine is prepared, ready, and ready to cart you to just about any club of your preference ( provided it's in Florida ), and a limo is a terrific way to go to any hotspot. Give the Bermuda Bar and Grill a try ; you will be glad that you did.
